No Waiting for the Stem Cell Research Debate To Finish

| Share

While the debate on stem cell research rages on, Donald Cecil couldn’t afford to wait for research. Donald badly needed treatment for his heart which was damaged by a series of heart attacks. Luckily, he found a stem cell treatment, Vescell in Thailand by using his own Adult Stem Cells to heal his ailing heart disease.

Heart Attacks Damaged His Heart Muscle

In 2006, Donald had difficulty walking as multiple heart attacks had damaged his heart so his ejection fraction was only at 15%. Doctors didn’t have much hope for Don to repair his heart disease. However, one doctor did mention a stem cell research and therapy in Thailand which uses the patient’s own stem cells to fix the heart muscle.

Adult Stem Cell Treatment Company for Heart Disease

Don got on the internet and he found that company Theravitae, who use the Vescell adult stem cell process in Thailand and contacted them in hopes to repair his heart muscle. Don sent in his medical records and the doctors in Thailand said yes, the stem cell therapy could possibly help him.

The Adult Stem Cells did help him. In 2006, Don went to Thailand for the heart disease stem cell treatment using his own stem cells.

From Don’s stem cell website:

His Doctors Back Home We’re Shocked

After the stem cell heart treatment, his doctors literally watched his heart regenerate from 15% blood ejection, to a normal working condition for someone his age! Some even admitted they have never seen anything like that before.

Don’s story is wonderful in that it shows that stem cell therapy can indeed give people hope TODAY!  Don didn’t want  to wait for a bunch of scientists doing stem cell research in some lab in the middle of nowhere to isolate some cells in rats to change them into this and that.   Adult Stem Cells are helping people now!

Washington (dbTechno) – Scientists in the U.S. have made history as they have found a brand new, safer way to create embryonic stem cells.
There has been a great debate over the years due to safety concerns in regards to the development of embryonic stem cells, seen by many as the future of medicine.

This debate may now be put to rest though thanks to this new research announced this week.

Florida Woman with Lung Disease (COPD) Off Oxygen After Adult Stem Cell Therapy

| Share

Thanks to stem cell research, a Florida female smoker, Barbara Mckean who was on oxygen 24 hours per day before stem cell therapy using her own Adult Stem Cells is now OFF oxygen totally after the treatment in the Dominican Republic.

Barbara Mckean is now enjoying life after the stem cell research done by cardiologist Dr. Zannos Grekos of the Repair Stem Cell Institute (RSCI) helped Barbara’s COPD repair the damage done in the lungs by years of smoking.

“What I cannot stand, what really gets me, is that we have set up a scam, in which Italy says that for moral reasons it is against embryonic stem cell research, but then it reaps the benefits from the research: if Italy is truly against stem cell research, the government must say that Italian citizens will never benefit from the discoveries that will come from the research”, said Italian researcher Elena Cattaneo, who spoke at the 2nd World Congress for “freedom of research’ of the Luca Conscioni Association in Brussels.

At the congress, 1993 Nobel Prize winner for chemistry, Kary Mullis spoke, as well as Martin Perle, 1995 winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics, and Spanish Healthcare Minister Bernat Soria, who accepted to be the leader of a new movement for ‘the freedom to treat the sick’, requested by a Belgian ALS patient, and who confirmed “the need for complete freedom in research”.

Dental Pulp Stem Cells Stored in Banks

Instead of children hiding teeth under their pillows, today in the United States consideration is being given to a method in which milk teeth are extracted before they fall out to remove the dental pulp, rich in adult stem cells, which is then frozen in liquid nitrogen in stem cell banks for future use.

Dental pulp from milk teeth in children, which are lost between the ages of 6 and 12, and from normal teeth in adults, are rich in stem cells able to transform into various types of tissues. Thanks to various studies performed by several scientists, it has been demonstrated that these cells have the ability to generate new nerves, bone, and teeth after being transplanted into the gums of various animals.

The National Dental Pulp Laboratori, Inc. (a laboratory of the New England Cryogenic Center) which has stored cells and tissues for 25 years, and for the past 12 years umbilical cord stem cells (in the New England Cord Blood Bank), this year will start to store Dental Pulp Stem Cells (DPSCs), allowing people to store dental pulp from their children’s teeth in liquid nitrogen. In the United States there are already 2 banks offering this service, and it has been predicted that next year it will be a service advised directly by dentists.

Stem Cell Injections for Muscular Sclerosis Patients

Stem cell injections may be able to cure the crippling effects of multiple sclerosis, according to a study published today. Four out of five adults in the early stages of Muscular Sclerosis who were injected with stem cells taken from their own bone marrow experienced improvements in their conditions after three years, and the rest of the patients experienced a stabilization of their conditions. Dr. Doug Brown of the Muscular Sclerosis Society said that encouraging results have been obtained, and that it is exciting to see not only that the progression of the disability was stopped in this attempt, but it also appears to cure the damaging effects of the disorder; stem cells are increasingly demonstrating more potential to treat Muscular Sclerosis .

The challenge that must now be faced involves attempting their efficiency in studies with many people. Previous studies have shown that stem cell treatments stabilize Muscular Sclerosis , but have never suggested that it could cure its conditions. Muscular Sclerosis is the most common debilitating neurological condition, damaging myelin, the protective membrane that surrounds nervous fibers, making it difficult to control muscles.
